Movie Musical Month continues with an adaptation of a musical that everyone tried to pretend wasn’t a musical: MEAN GIRLS (the musical?!) Kat and Jocelyn discuss songs that are additive in the sense that “they are added”, messy stars that we know too much about, and wonder whether it’s wise to pretend the movie you’re marketing isn’t a musical (it’s not).
